Additional Notes

Survival in Sarajevo (and the accompanying short film) was based on the book by Edward Serotta, Survival in Sarajevo: Jews, Bosnia, and the Lessons of the Past, published in 1994. The exhibition was underwritten by the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), The Milton and Rosyln Wolf Foundation, IHRA (International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance), and the Austrian Education Ministry.

The original exhibition was available:

  • in German and English (for European institutions), consisting of 10 panels, @ 280x230cm
  • in Bosnian and English (for institutions in former Yugoslavia), consisting of 10 panels @ 280x230cm
