What is one feature that drew you to the IPEI2 project?
What drew me to the IPEI2 project was the flexibility of synchronous learning and my interest in an LSL program
How does the IPEI2 project effectively prepare you to be successful in your future career?
This program prepares students for a career in working with students and families through the practical hands-on approach and learning through interprofessional studies.
What is your favorite thing about the program?
My favorite part of the program is attending classes with knowledgeable staff. Classes are presented in a way that encourages interprofessional development by allowing students to feel comfortable and ask questions as we are learning.
What inspired you to pursue your career choice?
I was ready for a change in career but wanted to continue working with children. I had worked with a deaf educator previously who inspired my interest in this profession.
What opportunities are you hoping to have while being a part of the IPEI2 project?
I hope to gain more knowledge and experience working with families in a coaching position in the birth to three category. I also want to gain more knowledge in language development and teaching reading to children in the age range of 3-5.
