Abstract
It is intended in this thesis to give a complete picture of each facet of work connected with the position of Art Editor of the Fountain and thereby clarify the responsibilities involved. It is intended by study and investigation of the issues of previous years to produce a magazine that, from the Art Editor's viewpoint, will be of higher caliber in regard to typography, layout, and illustrations.
It is hoped that future Art Editors of the Fountain will be aided by reference to this thesis when there is doubt in their minds as to just what the job consists of. Using this information will help avoid the mistakes that have been made in previous years and improve the magazine still more.
