Abstract
Three diagnostic measures frequently selected by speech and language clinicians in suburban St. Louis County Missouri were administered to two Experimental Groups. The groups consisted of normal and language disordered, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten subjects ranging in age from 4 years, 2 months to 6 years, 3 months. A comparison of the performance of the two groups was made and implications regarding the use of published normative data in St, Louis County were discussed. Results yielded scores for the normal subjects that were 18 months to 2 years above those presented as established norms in test manuals.
