Dr. Anthony Fauci is currently the director of the NIAID (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases) and advisor to the President on the COVID-19 pandemic.
In May of 1999 he was the commencement speaker at Fontbonne College. President Denny Golden, a high school and college friend of Dr. Fauci's, presented him with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa.
