Description
This painting, by Bessie Lowenhaupt (1881-1968) was one of many works by the St. Louis artist recently displayed in the Fontbonne Library Gallery. Years ago, on their evening strolls, the College sisters chatted with Mrs. Lowenhaupt as they walked by her home, which was near Fontbonne. The artists memory of the Sisters of St. Joseph is depicted in her painting.
