Description

FUSION was an opportunity for students from many area colleges to meet and celebrate together. It was usually a concert and party held at Union Station. On September 14, 2001, it became an opportunity to honor the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks, the first responders, and their families.

This article in the October 2001 issue of The Fontbanner is illustrative of real-time responses in the days immediately following 9/11.

Full issue scans of The Fontbanner will be available in GriffinShare in early 2022.
