Born in Priboj where his parent lived before the conflict, Forced to flee the area at the age of 10 months, Moved to Germany where he lived for 7 years and started school while establishing a new life, Family had an idea that the war would start as conflict had already began in Croatia and Slovenia, After the signing of the Dayton Accords family moved to St. Louis in 2000, Life at the start was difficult as parents did not know the language and had no form of employment , Lived in small home with family friend and his family which was thought, The war in Bosnia is a war that was a few people with personal hate for someone used this hate to commit crimes against a whole group of people, Thinks that the war can serve as a lesson to the whole world on what happens if hate is allowed to exists, Believes that the best way to avoid war is to be understanding and respect and to open up your heart to people, In identifies as Bosnian American and sees that identity as something that has made him stronger as a person.
