Enrolled in High School in Bratunac when the war started, Made his via bus back to his village Klotjevac, Family stayed in the village while villages all around were taken over by Serb forces, At the last movement moved with his family to Srebrenica, Married and used his families livestock to travel to Zepa to trade for salt and other food, Married while in Srebrenica and first child born with the help of UNPROFOR, Fought on the front line in Srebrenica until the collaspe and Serbian take over, Joined the convey along with many family members on the "Path of Death" to break out of Srebrenica enclave, Had to turn back multiple times after suffering from Serbs attacks on the convey, Hide in the forest from Serb patrols with father and friends eventully going back to take refugee in a cave system in home village, Food ran out and the group of 10 moved again scavaning for food and water as they went throughout the Podrinije region, Took refugee in more caves, tents in Zepa area, Traveled with guide from Zepa to Tuzla via forest path, Joined the professional army and afterwards sought asylum in Switzerland,Moved to St.Louis with the help of a laywer friend in Bern
