Description
He was born to inter-married parents in St. Louis. His mother is Catholic and his Father is Muslim. His father was born and raised in Foca and his mother in Dubrovnik. His parents do not talk much about the war and only brief stories. His mom was pregnant when the war began and they quickly fled to America. He has many family members still in Bosnia and they visit every other year. He recalls getting made fun of for being Bosnian as a small child but the atmosphere has improved as he has gotten older.
