Born to parents from Bosanski Novi and Kozorac, Earliest memories are of spending time with family and friends in St. Louis. War effected family as they were forced to flee their homes and move to an unknown country, Bosnia has changed since the war and the people in the country are different, Everyone she knows from Bosnia has lost something or someone close, Family rarely speaks about the war but she knew that her family experienced it first hand, Hopes to be working as a nurse in the future, Parents adapted to life in the United States and now comfortable speak English, Wants future generations to keep visiting Bosnia and to appreciate how different life is there from the United States.
