Abstract
The analysis, of oral language, written and oral reading skills of ten, eight year old, third grade subjects was conducted. The ten subjects were divided into two groups according to their reading performance. Five subjects in Group A, with reading skills below grade level, and five subjects in Group B, with reading skills below grade level. Results of this study indicate that there is an existing grammatical relationship between the three areas examined.. Comparison of the two groups reveal a significant difference in their performance in all areas examined.
