This treatise, entitled "The Limited Liability Company- An Entity Whose Time Has Come?" explores the Limited Liability Company (LLC). The LLC is one of the most dynamic and talked about items in the business community today. Numerous states have enacted LLC legislation. This treatise reviews the LLC's brief history and compares it to similar pass-through entities. In this discussion, the approach will be from both a tax and non-tax perspective. It reviews several unresolved issues. It concludes with a discussion as to its ultimate destiny.
