Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to provide the reader with a history and over view of the kinds, uses and advantages of body hearing aids. Special emphasis is given to related areas of: age of fitting and kind of loss. A third area of interest is a comparison of the body hearing aid, with some group amplification systems in a classroom setting.
