Abstract
Being deaf is obviously a handicap. The intention of this paper is to explore the areas of intelligence, educational achievement, psychological adjustment and physical aptitudes with special concentration of the psychological aspect. There are advantages and disadvantages, agreement and disagreement in all these, areas.
