Dress and Culture [FAS 105]

Fashion Blogs

Course: FAS 105 Dress and Culture
Instructor: Carlyn Moore

Dress and Culture gives students an opportunity to explore the values associated with appearance of individuals and groups within cultural, social, psychological, and economic realms; including the visual impact of the identity on the self and others.

These blogs have been an accumulative project throughout the semester. Students created digital blogs about their personal dress, as well as dress they observe in their lives. The entries include pictures, descriptions, and explain the cultural components they can be connected to.
