Abstract

Managing business information for sales representatives via personal computers has become the latest concept for sales enhancement. The computer revolution has entered a new era by providing the most innovative and successful applications of computers that do the job, by fully integrating the capabilities of computers with the sales effort.

Technological advances have made computers faster, cheaper, and more powerful. Now we have the opportunity to learn more about the capabilities of these new information technologies and get a better sense of some of the more sophisticated ways they can be used.

While companies are looking for ways to increase profit and minimize cost, managing business information via personal computers is proving to be the happy medium.
