The Association of Colleges of Sisters of St. Joseph (ACSSJ) faculty development series includes responses to a survey of faculty across our institutions, focusing on perceptions of both changes in student learning and adaptations in teaching predicated on their experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Approximately 300 ACSSJ faculty provided their insights in the survey, and panelists in each session will respond to those insights with regard to themes related to technology and student learning, development, and support. The first installment of the series will feature faculty from four ACSSJ campuses discussing “technology”, broadly interpreted, and how it has impacted teaching on our campus. While some embraced synchronous instruction and other technologies for the first time in March 2020, others have used these tools successfully for years. Panelists will offer their own expertise and insights into how we continue to improve student learning and engagement through the use of technology.
