I knew that I wanted to work with deaf and hard of hearing children after taking a deaf education class in college. My professor was an early intervention provider and I was intrigued with the work she was doing. I found out that Fontbonne was one of the few programs where I could earn a master’s degree in Early Intervention in Deaf Education, so I applied and was accepted. The interprofessional grant has given me many opportunities, including presenting at the AG Bell Symposium in Madrid, Spain. You can find the poster Kayla Winkler and I created for AG Bell here!
