The problem of constructing the attire for a bride as presented about a month in advance of the date set for the wedding. With little guidance in the choice of materials suitable for her pattern and with the desire of being a beautifully-dressed bride at a comparatively small sum, the bride went shopping. The problem consisted of adaptation both in the construction of the wedding gown, slip, and veil and in the time available for fitting and sewing.
