Abstract

Diophantine equations come in all shapes and sizes. In my paper I will try to give the reader a sufficient sampling of Diophantine equations in order to give him a good idea of what is meant by such an equation. My purpose is to explain what they are, how they were developed, and what it involves to solve one.
