Abstract

The issue of HIV/AIDS in the workplace has grown into a significant problem for many corporations, and it does not appear to be going anywhere. A lot of organizations are not certain about how to handle such situations, so they continue to ignore its prevalence. No organization is immune to the effects of HIV/AIDS and the severe implications that can occur in the workplace. A precise knowledge and an awareness of the disease as it relates to the employee or employees, will prove to be helpful to all of those involved. Working with employees with or without the HIV/AIDS virus is going to take proper training on all levels. This can prevent any misconceptions that could probably lead to disruption in the workplace.
