The purpose of this study was to determine if there was a relationship between IA* The Original Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test and •toe Test For Auditory Comprehension of Language, IB. The Revised Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test and the Test For-Auditory Comprehension of Language, and II. The Original Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, and the Revised Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, Twenty subjects ranging in age from 4 years, 3 months (4-3) to 5 years, 0 months (5-rO) participated in the study. The subjects were divided into two groups, a Normal Language Group and a Language Impaired Group. Each subject was administered each of the experimental tests to determine if a relationship existed between the scores. Significant positive relationships were found between : IA. The Original Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test and the Test For Auditory Comprehension of Language, and II, The Original Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test and the Revised Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test. These findings suggests that the experimental tests can be used interchangeably and that scores on one can predict scores on another.
